Champion partners with upcycling advocates on sustainable line

Working with Australian upcyclers and sustainability advocates Philip O’Donahoo and Jaida The Creator, Champion is launching a line of sustainable denim and streetwear made from recycled fabric.
The Re:Bound collection is said to be made from 45% pre-consumer recycled cotton. Reverse Weave — the shrink-resistant fabric used for the line — is said to be made from what’s typically discarded during production.
According to the company, excess fabric is reclaimed, then blended with virgin cotton and spun into new yarn. The yarn is then dipped into indigo baths for a denim wash.
In launching the collection, Champion brought on board Mr O’Donahoo and Jaida The Creator to star in the Re:Bound campaign, which features pieces of Re:Bound as the backdrop to the photo shoot
