Denim-focused consultancy and events company Olah Inc has appointed Richard Tobin as its new vice-president for sales and marketing.

He previously held the same role at Kaltex America, Mexico’s largest denim mill and jeans producer. Before that, he worked at Tavex, also in Mexico, and, earlier, in Asia in a business of his own. In all, Mr Tobin brings more than 30 years’ experience of the jeans industry to Olah Inc.

On announcing the appointment, chief executive, Andrew Olah, said: “Massive change is impacting every supplier and customer, and an experienced person with vision can bring fundamental change not just to our company, but to the industry at large.”
