Avery Baker departs Tommy Hilfiger after 24 years

Tommy Hilfiger president and chief brand officer, Avery Baker, a 24-year veteran of the PVH-owned fashion company, has embarked on “a new chapter”.

The senior executive, based in Amsterdam, had initially rejoined the team in 2020 after first stepping away mid-2019. Her mission, at that time, was to support global chief executive, Martijn Hagman, in navigating Tommy Hilfiger’s “next era”, post-pandemic.

Ms Baker said she had taken the decision to leave “after a great deal of soul searching”, but extended “a special thank you” to Mr Hilfiger himself, describing his mentorship since 1997 as “an absolute gift”.
