Marseille-based denim brand Kaporal is under new ownership and has a new brand president.

Kaporal was founded in 2004 and has grown its network of stores to 78. However, it went into financial difficulty earlier this year and is now under the control of three members of the previous leadership team: Nicolas Ciccione, Thierry Bongiovanni, and Réginald Labbé.

At the end of August, they appointed Thierry Pérusat as Kaporal’s new brand president. An experienced fashion brand executive, Mr Pérusat previously held senior positions at Burton, La Fée Maraboutée, Rodier and Maison Weill.
