Debrand opens facility in US
Sorting and logistics company for apparel and footwear, Debrand has announced the opening of its first facility in the United States. Located in Columbus, Ohio, it is close to a major apparel industry hub, the Canadian company said of the 32,000-square-foot facility.

With the prospect of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation coming into force in the country, there will be a greater need for an industrial infrastructure, commented Debrand co-founder and CEO Amelia Eleiter. The new facility “will help us address our current challenges with pre- and post-consumer waste, but we are also future-proofing so that once regulations pass and our clients are faced with new operational realities, we are ready to support them.”

Founded in 2008 and based in Vancouver, Debrand works with many major brands and retailers including Abercrombie & Fitch, Guess, Everlane, lululemon and Aritzia. Customers in Ohio include Victoria’s Secret and Downlite.
