Sustainable, recyclable collection made with hemp and less water
The latest collection from Levi’s is said to be the company’s most sustainably-designed to date, made using hemp thread and the brand’s Water<Less technique. Pieces in the WellThread collection are also said to be 100% recyclable.

“Hemp is a great natural fibre that saves significant amounts of water at the cultivation stage,” according to Una Murphy, Levi’s senior innovation designer. “[Using it] allows us to reduce our water impact and prioritise environmental conservation. And, because it requires less intervention in the growing stage, hemp promotes cleaner soils.”

The brand’s Water<Less, used to make the collection, is said to save up to 96% of the water normally used during the finishing process.
