Levi Strauss & Co names chief sustainability officer
Jeff Hogue is joining Levi Strauss & Co as its new chief sustainability officer. He brings with him more than 20 years’ global experience in sustainability, environmental health and quality. He took up the role on July 20.
Originally from California, Mr Hogue has spent the last six years in Brussels, where he served as chief sustainability officer at C&A. While in that role, he developed the company’s first global sustainability strategy and built a global team to integrate sustainability across the business.
He said he was thrilled to join Levi Strauss & Co, describing the denim brand as “a company with such a rich history as a business and as a leader in sustainability programming”.
