The latest denim from Gucci takes the “distressed” look to a new level, with strategically applied splashes of green to give a grass-stained effect. The Eco washed organic denim overall (pictured) costs $1400 on the store’s US site.

According to Gucci, the Eco wash “explores new takes on the cult fabric, reinterpreting it with different designs and washing techniques that blur the line between vintage and contemporary.”

The brand also said all of the organic cotton leftovers that accrue from cutting up the denim are upcycled into new materials as part of the “Gucci Up” programme.
