Four-time Grand Slam tennis champion Naomi Osaka has worked with Levi’s to create a new, four-piece, limited-edition clothing collection from upcycled denim.

A denim kimono and matching obi belt reflect Naomi Osaka’s Japanese heritage. She said on announcing the collection that the inclusion of a kimono was, perhaps, unexpected, but that she had enjoyed wearing kimonos as a child and was pleased to have one in denim.

There is also a bustier with lace-up back created from reworked Levi’s trucker jackets. Two styles of denim shorts complete the collection: one of these also has a lace-up back.
