Tie-up between Levi’s and Amsterdam old stock specialist

Atelier Reservé, an Amsterdam-based label with a focus on bringing old stock fabrics, used materials and vintage garments back to life, has teamed up with Levi’s to present a new limited-edition collection of genderless garments. This is the second time they have worked together.

Items in this second capsule collection include a reconstruction of the Sherpa trucker jacket, replacing the traditional stand-up collar with a kimono-style fit and removing the original waistband to create “a flowy silhouette”.

The founders of Atelier Reservé, Alljan Moehamad and Deyrinio Fraenk, said on announcing the new collection that they have been using old stock and vintage Levi’s to create new garments since starting out in 2016.

“There’s just something about the quality of the fabrics and design that make Levi’s garments ideal for us to use,” Mr Moehamad said. “They have a durability and natural aging process that we love and need. In comparison, we could never do what we do with used fast-fashion products of poor quality.”
