H&M Group has announced it will open its first Arket store in Paris this autumn. First launched in 2017, with a multi-level store on Regent Street in London, Arket is a design and lifestyle-oriented brand with a strong Nordic minimalist design heritage, as the Scandinavian group describes this division. Since its launch, 24 physical stores have been opened, and this will be the first in Paris.

Arket features not only ready-to-wear and accessories for men, women and children but also bodycare products and home goods. The “lifestyle destination” will also include a café, whose menu was created by Swedish chef Martin Berg.

“We are truly excited to announce the upcoming opening of our first store in Paris. It is a perfect location to present the brand,” declared Arket managing director Pernilla Wohlfahrt, in a statement.

The retailer has not yet indicated where the store will be located. It is believed to be in the Marais quarter, in the centre of Paris, as Fashion Network has suggested.
