Go ahead for Denim Days Festival April edition

The venue, De Hallen & Denim City, is where the consumer-facing denim festival was able to hold its latest IRL event, in October 2019. Denim Days runs this space, a denim innovation and networking campus, and the House of Denim Foundation and Kingpins are partners for the Denim Days festival.
The two-day all-things denim festival will include a Market featuring established and up-and-coming brands.
Denim Talks will be held on both days of the event, with a special focus, on the first day, which aptly coincides with Earth Day, on sustainability topics. Workshops, exhibitions and get-togethers will also be a part of the programme.
The organisers expect the event to be a bit smaller than former editions, but decided to go ahead with an April edition, instead of waiting for late October, the festival’s traditional dates.
Denim Days has used the period in between events to rethink its website. It now focuses on a new topic every month (February is denim love month) and posts interviews along with an online shop. “The website is a virtual version of the Denim Days Festival,” says Joanne Schouten, event coordinator. It aligns fully with the stated mission of the event and its organisers: “Towards a brighter blue.”
