Graphene-enhanced denim graces Milan Fashion Week

Graphene-based products developer Directa Plus used the occasion of Milan Fashion Week in February to present two denim garments styled by Pavia-based designer Romy Calzado.
The garments were the Naomi 1.5 dress (pictured) and the Grace 1.5 skirt. Both garments were made in denim enriched by Directa Plus’ proprietary Planar Thermal Circuit print, which incorporates the company’s Graphene Plus material.
Benefits the graphene brings to the fabric, Directa Plus has said, include thermal regulation, antimicrobial functionality and UV protection.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell wore the dress named after her during the Afro Fashion Week event that takes place each year during Milan Fashion Week to show collections African and Afro-inspired creators.
