COP27 speaker slot for Isko
Denim manufacturing group Isko was a participant at the recently concluded the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The group’s senior manager for brand partnerships, Elena Faleschini, was one of the speakers at a discussion entitled ‘Circular Systems for a Net Positive Fashion Industry’.
Non-profit organisation Global Fashion Agenda and the United Nations Environment Programme jointly hosted the discussion.
Topics that Ms Faleschini and the other speakers covered included harmonisation and transparency around the climate goals fashion companies set themselves, the crucial role partnerships can play in helping companies meet those goals, and the importance of investment in innovation.
