G-III Apparel Group has launched a new dedicated denim brand under the Karl Lagerfeld label. It announced Karl Lagerfeld Jeans on December 8, saying its debut spring-summer 2023 collection was available online right away.

It said the brand would be “authentic and outspoken”, and would be aimed at “the first generation of true digital natives”, saying these young consumers “value the expression of individualism and unique moments of connection”.

In its presentation of the new brand, it said Karl Lagerfeld Jeans would be “bold and youthful with a streetstyle appeal”, and would have a signature aesthetic, with K-shaped stitch details, diversity in denim cuts, and an electric blue as the “house colour” appearing throughout the collection.
