LVMH Métiers d’Art to promote Japanese denim with Kuroki

Located in the heart of the Okayama prefecture, the Kuroki mill is known for producing superb quality denim, and for the excellence of its denim dyeing and weaving, and LVMH Métiers d’Art will promote the unique quality of Japanese denim
Tatsushi Kuroki, President of Kuroki, said: “It is a great honour to have this opportunity to join the LVMH Métiers d’Art community as its first Japanese partner manufacturer.
“I am proud and pleased that our know-how is recognised and valued through this collaboration, which I hope will be a new opportunity to show the world the high quality and appeal of ‘Made in Japan.”
Through this partnership, Kuroki will join a diverse community of métiers “to nurture cross-fertilization among industries”, coupled with sharing of techniques and know-how between artisans and manufacturing facilities.
