Climbing shorts from Ternua use denim

Outdoor brand Ternua has said “sustainable innovation” is at the heart of its spring-summer 2024 collection. On presenting the collection at the end of May, the Basque brand said it had favoured mono-material garments and circular design criteria.
Specific innovations include an overhaul of its climbing line, the Climvibe series, which now has a few carefully chosen items that it said customers would be able to wear to climb and also in their day-to-day lives. The garments include pieces designed in denim “with strategic cuts” that favour freedom of movement.
Examples include the Top Out bermuda shorts for men, which Ternua describes as ideal for bouldering and for “anything else that wearers have planned for the day”. The shorts are made from a denim fabric constructed using a combination of hemp with a high level of breathability, soft and comfortable organic cotton and elastane for stretch and ease of movement.
