Valencia-based technology developer Jeanologia has issued an appeal to the entire textile industry “to unite to create a green planet, without waste and pollution for the next generations”.

It said it was working to develop sustainable technologies that will help lower impacts on the environment. Other innovations such as its Environmental Impact Measuring (EIM) software package will help companies measure the sustainability of the garments they make. 

It issued its call on June 5, World Environment Day.
