Jeans brand founder delighted to design for largest audience ever

Two Swedish clothing brands, Monki and Iggy Jeans, have teamed up to create a new, limited-edition collection, launching at the beginning of September.
Nine pieces in black, blue and green make up the collection. Denim elements include versions of Monki’s Naoki and Wakumi low-waisted jeans styles. There is also a classic denim jacket, a mini-skirt and and button up waistcoat.
Iggy Jeans founder, Ingrid Berg, said she was happy to work with Monki, saying the brand, which was founded in Gothenburg in 2006 and became part of the H&M Group two years later, “conveys the essence of being a girl in a lighthearted yet punky way”.
She explained that working on this joint-collection enabled her to design for a larger audience than ever before.
