Denim and lifestyle clothing retail group Urban Outfitters has reported revenues of close to $2.4 billion for the first six months of its current business year, the period ending July 31, 2023.

This figure represents an increase of 6.7% year on year and reflects second-quarter sales of nearly $1.3 billion, a new record for the Philadelphia-based fashion group.

Chief executive, Richard Hayne, said the company was proud of its record-breaking achievement, adding: “It is also gratifying that Q2’s sales strength has continued to date in Q3.”
