Outland surpasses first fundraising target
Australia’s Outland Denim has raised more than A$195,000 from a private investment round, surpassing its initial target, and has opened its crowd-sourced round to the public.

The company bought Australian brand Nobody Denim earlier this year and is offering shares to grow the business.

One of its main pillars is supporting workers escaping modern slavery, operating a factory in Cambodia.

Rewards for investments include free products: those investing A$500 receive one free product; those investing A$10,000 receive 10 products plus a trip to Cambodia to see where the clothes are manufactured and the difference the work makes to people’s lives.

Outland said: “We’re crafting a legacy of positive change. By investing with us, you become a part-owner in a movement that empowers vulnerable communities, champions environmental sustainability and redefines ethical fashion.”
