Mill makes ‘fastest custom jeans’ promise
Turkish denim fabric supplier Realteks has claimed that a new service it is offering can provide customers with “the world’s fastest custom jeans”.
According to the company, customers will be able to choose everything from the yarns to the precise shade of the finished fabric, and have the jeans ready to wear in 24 hours.
It has called the service Real Atelier, describing it as “the paradigm of agility” in denim manufacturing.
Customers will choose from the company’s range of yarns and its mill in Adana will then dye the yarns to the customer’s preferred colours before weaving enough fabric to make the jeans.
For the design of the garment itself, users of Real Atelier will have access to 3D design and prototyping technology to create jeans with the right look and fit.
Meanwhile, the fabric will go through the laundry and finishing stages, with artisans at the mill then applying their skills to the finished fabric to make the jeans.
“The possibilities are as varied as the customer’s imagination,” Realteks has said.
