Non-profit organisation the Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) has announced that its 2024 AbTF Cotton Conference will take place in Mumbai from March 11-13. 

It holds a cotton event each year to bring together industry professionals, researchers and cotton experts to discuss current challenges.  

The focus this year will be on innovative, digital ways to develop transparent and sustainable supply chains. 

Topics under discussion will include regenerative agriculture and climate change adaptation, as well as insights into key innovations and technologies with relevance to cotton cultivation. Soil health and the role of local communities in implementing sustainability projects will also feature.
