ELV Denim wins British Fashion Council funding
London based upcycled denim brand ELV is among recipients of the British Fashion Council (BFC) grants for 2024.

Founded by fashion stylist Anna Foster in 2018, ELV takes preloved denim and crafts them into new styles. It started with contrast-colour mid-seam jeans and has since expanded to include shirts, dresses and accessories.

The BFC Fashion Trust has awarded over £3 million to 58 designer businesses since 2011 to promote growth.

Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council, said: “This group of designers embody creativity, innovation and agility and it’s been inspiring to watch them tackle the industry’s key issues and thrive in a turbulent landscape. We look forward to seeing their continued impact.”

Other recipients are Completedworks, Conner Ives, Helen Kirkum, Labrum London and Tove.
