Nafpaktos increases cotton spinning capacity

08/08/2024
Nafpaktos Textile Industry, a textile group based in Greece and specialising in cotton, from ginning to spinning, has announced that its modernisation and expansion plan, a €5.7 million investment, has been completed.

The overhaul of its Lygias, Nafpaktos spinning mill has increased production capacity by 35% and extended its compact yarn offering. The optimised energy consumption of the new equipment also helps reduce emissions, the company said.

The funds were provided by the Greek State and European Union (40%), and the remaining 60% coming from the company’s own resources and bank loans.
