Turkish mill Tüsa Denim has used a blend of hemp and cotton to craft a new fabric collection that it has called Hempstead.

It said the fabrics in the range “embody the principles of sustainability and biodegradability that are at the heart of contemporary fashion”.

Hemp outperforms conventional cotton in sustainability, Tüsa continued. It said the fibre was poised to become a cornerstone of the denim industry.
