Quebec-based running brand Ciele Athletics is exhibiting its love of denim with the launch of a new collection using the storied fabric this Spring. The key fabric is a stretch hemp/cotton 7.5oz denim fabric used for a jacket, double layer running shorts, caps and a bucket hat. Hemp is one of the brand’s signature fibres.

The B Corp performance running company, founded by Mike Giles and Jeremy Bresnen, recently hired its first CEO Jano Arabaghian, whose career spans stints at Red Bull, The North Face, Oakley and Vans.

“Since Jeremy and Mike founded Ciele Athletics in 2014, running has undergone a cultural shift. It’s no longer solely about performance, but also expression, connection and identity,” commented the new CEO.
