Software provider KolAi Denim has released a Photoshop plugin, which it says enables designers to create natural-looking dry process templates in matter of minutes.

The development has been created for 3D denim designers: after opening an image of a garment in Photoshop, KolAi’s plugin will automatically extract the dry process in a format compatible with 3D design programs, such as Clo3d, V-Sticther, Tuka3d.

“This saves the designer hours of time,” explained Kyle Stephens, co-founder of KolAi Denim.

Users of Kolai include David Johnson, laundry manager for Guess Jeans USA; and Bill Curtin, owner of BPD Wash House.
