Denimsandjeans confirms March speaker line-up
Doors will open to Denimsandjeans’ fifth Vietnamese trade show in Ho Chi Minh City on March 1.

Organisers were forced to reschedule the two-day, yoga-themed denim exhibition, titled Yogim, last August due to covid concerns in the region. It was originally due to take place late last September.

Among the event’s highlights are talks from Tommy Hilfiger’s Nicolas Prophte, Tonello creative director Alice Tonello, Cotton Council International’s William Hung, Serdar Demircioglu of Kaiser Textile, KolAi’s Dr Kyle Stephens and Florian Schneider, a supply chain specialist and former sourcing director at PVH Far East.

Mr Prophte will notably discuss the role Vietnam-based enterprises could play in better aligning the broader denim industry with circular-economy principles moving forward.

Tonello’s stand, located in the fair’s trend area, will showcase the company’s latest natural dye range and newest ozone finishing system, EGO, alongside denims inspired by organisers’ “yogim” concept, sports-style performance and a more minimalist design-friendly collection, finished using its most low-waste technologies.

Day one will also close with a special yoga performance at 4 pm.
