COS Remade, as the range is called, includes five pieces with a workwear feel, including barrel leg trousers, a funnel neck jacket and a top made from a single piece of fabric folded to shape to the body.
Like H&M, COS runs a garment takeback programme, and through an initiative known as COS Restore, launched in 2021, cleans and repairs used items that it resells. For items that are beyond repair, and made from unblended fabrics such as cotton or wool, the retailer seeks recycling solutions to give them a new life, it said.
