Anthropologie elevates in-house label
Philadelphia-headquartered Anthropologie Group is turning its in-house label Maeve into a standalone entity. This label has been the most searched brand on the retailer’s website, with close to 3 million searches and it has nearly 2 million customers, the group said. The brand’s timeless silhouettes, which include a good dose of denim, have been found to appeal to a broad, cross-generational audience, it added.

“Maeve has emerged as a true driver of growth within Anthropologie’s portfolio,” commented Anu Narayanan, head of women’s and home at Anthropologie Group.

To support this launch, the retailer plans to create dedicated social channels for Maeve, from TikTok to Substack, and boost its advertising and influencer budget.
