US Denim turns ‘flaws’ into features with coloured neps

Pakistan-based US Denim Mills has added a playful twist to denim with tiny bursts of colour woven in: Coloured Neps.
“Traditionally, neps on a fabric’s surface were seen as flaws,” the mill tells us. “In coloured neps denim, however, those same specks become a defining feature. Tiny multicolored flecks are woven into the surface, adding a lively, tactile dimension that feels both unexpected and artistic.”
The company has also created Texture, where subtle block patterns and a geometric weave add depth to the fabric; and Pulse, which offers lasting softness through advanced yarn engineering.
