Janelle Hanna's new book: Jean Genius stockists announced
Janelle Hanna, the face behind repair and upcycling brand White Weft, has announced stockists of her newly published book, ‘Jean Genius: Repair, Reimagine and Repurpose Your Denim’.
The London-based denim and circular fashion specialist penned the book to address the lack of information about repairing - an essential skill to keep jeans in use, and clothes out of landfill, she said.
The book contains practical tutorials, tool tips and ideas, drawing from her years of experience in the White Weft studio in London.
“It drives me mad how quickly jeans get ‘retired’ when there’s so much life left in them,” she said. “I truly believe that for a circular fashion future to work, more of us need to feel confident enough to have a go at fixing and customising our clothes.”
In the UK, the book is available to buy through the White Weft website or at Waterstones. In the US, it is available at Barnes & Noble, and Slowfiber.com; in Canada at Indigo. European stockists include Papercutshop.se.
