Next major shift for Jeanologia

Denim-focused textile technology provider Jeanologia has said it is preparing “the next major shift” in garment finishing.

It has said it will integrate artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced automation into its processes to make them more efficient and more precise, and to lower the impact of these processes on the environment.

Another aim is to bring garment finishing technologies “even closer to designers” and improve brands’ ability to respond to consumer demand without generating overproduction.

These developments will include recycling systems and new finishing methods that consume fewer resources. Jeanologia said its mission will remain unchanged. It will continue is work to reduce the use of water in textile production and accelerate a transition toward truly circular models.

The company’s marketing director, Carmen Silla, said: “We have proven that technology can transform the industry and make it more sustainable and efficient. Our commitment is to continue driving a production model connected to designers, creativity and real consumer demand, with solutions that protect essential resources like water.”
