Jeanologia introduces AI-powered laser design solution
Jeanologia is launching a new software programme today that harnesses artificial intelligence to cut down time designing patterns for lasering. The new design aid is called Billy AI, in reference to a pair of jeans from WWII once owned by an American soldier named Billy and a highlight of Jeanologia’s archives. 

The software platform identifies wear patterns on a photo and produces a laser-ready design in just minutes, said Jeanologia. This eliminates the need for manual retouching. 

Billy AI has been trained on the 9,000 laser designs or so that have been created since the Spanish company launched its first laser machines 25 years ago.
