Gold EcoVadis rating for CHT
Textiles chemicals and dyes maker CHT has been awarded the Gold Medal in the latest EcoVadis sustainability rating, which it attributes to “a newly aligned, more focused ESG [environmental, social, governance] performance”.
EcoVadis assesses more than 150,000 chemicals companies each year, evaluating across four themes: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
CHT’s overall score has improved and now stands at 81 out of 100 points, putting it in the top 5% of companies assessed in 2025.
CHT said: “Maintaining these strong results will require our full focus and commitment to sustainability again next year.”
German-headquartered CHT has 2,500 employees and 26 production sites. In the financial year 2024, it generated a turnover of €614 million.
