Bluesign to begin denim talks series at Kingpins
Swiss textile chemicals assessment body Bluesign has told how the expansion of its denim initiative across Europe, Asia and North America has inspired the launch of a new, ongoing talks series, beginning with trade show Kingpins Amsterdam on April 24.
The discussion, to be held at 1 pm, will explore the sustainability advantages of Bluesign Denim’s offer in the context of upcoming European Union regulations, including compliance strategies.
Europe-based Bluesign Denim partners include Sanko Textile’s Martelli laundry and producers Pure Denim and Isko, owned by Sanko, plus chemical suppliers Officina39, Rudolf, Zaitex, DyStar, Soko, Archroma and CHT.
Asian collaborators encompass manufacturers Saitex, Advance Denim, Prosperity Textile and Anubha Industries. Meanwhile, in North America, signatories include the Madewell, Reformation and Everlane brands.
