Levi’s eyes ecommerce with board appointment

Denim brand Levi Strauss & Co has appointed an ecommerce expert to its board as it “focuses on direct-to-consumer sales”.
Elliott Rodgers serves as chief information officer of Ulta Beauty and was previously director of operations at Target.com & Mobile.
He was responsible for Target’s ecommerce website and fulfilment operations and co-led Target’s omnichannel supply chain pilot programmes.
Levi’s chairman Stephen Neal said: “His expertise in all of these areas will be invaluable as we focus on direct-to-consumer and continue to look for innovative ways to get our products to our consumers when, where and how they want them.”
Mr Rodgers added: “I hope to complement the strength of the board of directors and management team with my experience and passion as we all work toward the company’s continued success.”
