“Back to business” with Fabric Days live Munich event
Organisers of Fabric Days said the industry is getting “back to business”, with the event to be held September 1 through 3 at MOC Munich. The condensed version of the fabrics and accessories trade fair will include exhibitors, networking, a trend forum and more.

Organisers said there was a noticeable need and enthusiasm to meet and see new fabrics, and the fair will be operating under the theme “Hopetimism” for autumn-winter 21/22.

Demin and sportswear will have an area, alongside fabrics, additionals, innovations, design studios and sourcing.

The majority of the 300 exhibitors are longstanding partners of Munich Fabric Start, but there are also some newcomers such as Turkish mill Bartateks Tekstil.

Frank Junker, creative director of Munich Fabric Start, said: “We are well aware of the great responsibility and challenge that comes with organising an event in the current times. It became clear to us early on that in the future it will be about planning with and not after Corona.

"In close cooperation with the authorities and Messe München, we have succeeded in implementing a series of measures that go far beyond the local and international protection requirements. So, nothing stands in the way of a professional trade fair visit in a safe environment.”

Sebastian Klinder, managing director of Munich Fabric Start, added: “We are very grateful for the trust that we have received from both exhibitors and visitors. Cooperation is needed now, only together can the industry prove itself in these extraordinary times.”
