Fabric Days organisers praise ‘notable enthusiasm’
Organisers of Fabric Days, which was held in Munich between September 1 and 3, have said the fair exceeded expectation in terms of the number of visitors, and have celebrated the noticeable enthusiasm of participants.

The fair – which was a slimmed-down version of the original due to covid restrictions – housed textile makers and accessories companies, and included a number of denim businesses that are regulars at Bluezone, the fair’s usually co-located denim event.

Mills including Tejidos Royo, Sharabati, Europa, Prosperity, Kilim and  F’Blue were out in force, and trends were presented under the banner ‘Hopetimism’.

Sebastian Klinder, managing director at Munich Fabric Start, said: "With the organization of the first fabric trade fair for the textile industry, we took on a great  responsibility. After the cancellation of numerous trade fair events, we are particularly proud to have been able to realise Fabric Days.”

He praised event staff and exhibitors’ discipline and cohesion and added: “The positive response and gratitude is overwhelming.”

Organisers are now planning the next fairs: View Premium Selection, Spring-Summer 2022: 8 & 9 December 2020; and Munich Fabric Start, Spring-Summer 2022: 26 – 28 January 2021.
