All money raised from The Muses For Education project will go towards Aina, a Madagascar-based charity that runs an orphanage and helps young and homeless mothers.
Aina Enface and Avenir provides childcare while mothers undertake training in agriculture and crafts, helping them gain employment and enabling them to keep children with them. It also runs an orphanage, providing children with a safe and stable environment.
Lottery tickets will soon be available online, and the draw will take place during the Bluezone denim show in Munich on September 1.
Organiser Lucie Germser said: “We have chosen to support Aina because we have known them for over 10 years and are confident in the amazing work they do. The covid situation severely impacted their support systems.”
She is appealing for denim brands to donate items that have been worn by celebrities, that will help to raise money for these young mothers and children.
