Les Deux dives into ‘sustainable’ denim
Frederiksberg, Denmark-headquartered premium apparel brand Les Deux has incorporated what it described as a “sustainable” denim capsule into its autumn-winter 2021 collection.
The label hinted that it had collaborated with a leading denim manufacturer to establish the category - “we’re ready to give our take on denim for the first time”, Les Deux said - but did not disclose the name of its partner.
Intriguingly, the brand did suggest that it had succeeded in its efforts to decrease the overall environmental impact of denim production at factory level by “approximately” 75%, however, following a “long process” - but did not go into further detail.
The final garments have been tailored to fit three different silhouettes with slim, regular and straight fits in five washes.
