Ganni introduces denim for rent at CPHFW

Copenhagen-based fashion house Ganni unveiled a rental-only collection of reworked pieces, including denim, during Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) autumn-winter 2021 in early February.

The 26-piece ‘Stage’ collection is the latest in the brand’s Ganni Kiosk offering, its fashion pop-up concept. Each item will be available to rent for up to three weeks in both the UK and Denmark via Ganni Repeat

“This season, we wanted to create a ‘stage’ collection to mark the energy of live performance and our love for music. Think iconic looks from David Bowie, Madonna’s Blond Ambition tour or a sprinkle of Elton John sequins," Ganni creative director, Ditte Reffstrup, told reporters.

“We were inspired by the transformative power of fashion and how when you walk out on stage, you can be anyone,” she continued.

Ms Reffstrup worked with local Copenhagen artist and costume designer Nanna Bernholm on the custom-made pieces, reusing and reworking existing styles and fabrics from earlier Ganni collections to create fresh designs.
