Greenable will be the main theme of the trend section and key topic for the line up of talks by global denim experts that are planned for the event which will be held at Hotel Lalit, in Bangalore.
Some thirty exhibitors have confirmed their presence, operating throughout the denim supply chain, from mills, garment producers, wash houses, chemical and fibre companies to technology providers. Key exhibitors to see at the show include Arvind, Bhaskar, LNJ, Ginni, Hyosung, Nandan, Jeanologia (Spain), Global Wash House, VAV, KG Denim, Spectrum, Lenzing, Oswal Denim, Jindal, Raymonds, SF Dyes, Blu Connection, Siyaram, Anubha, WEKO (Germany), Ultra, Deridesen (Turkey), Nandan, Kemin and others on waiting list.
The organisers point out that the Indian economy is one of the fastest growing globally (+8% yearly till 2025), boosted by new government policies and the arrival of large retailers and brands.
The fourth edition is being held after a three-year gap, due to covid. The Denimsandjeans team feels confident the event can be held safely. Most of the population is double vaccinated and by June a booster dose will have been administered to most of the urban population, it says. The organisation will be taking all measures required to ensure a safe environment for visitors and exhibitors at the show.
