Azgard9 looks to Bangladesh after sales double
Pakistani denim producer Azgard9, based in Lahore, saw its revenues surge by 50% year on year (YOY) over the nine-month period spanning July 2021 to March 2022, the company has announced. 

Operating profit reached around $6.7 million or approximately 1.45 billion Pakistani rupees, signalling YOY growth of 26%. 

The firm, which also announced plans to open a Bangladesh-based sales office, warned its next round of results may bear the mark of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, specifically its negative impact on retail and shipping. It further cautioned of a potential global recession.
