Nature, heritage & sustainability drive trends at Sharabati
Denim manufacturer with facilities in Egypt and Turkey, Sharabati Denim is exhibiting at Premiere Vision Paris, which opens today.

Among the developments on display, the company is presenting a new ‘dry denim’ range which has been made possible thanks to a major investment which allows the company to recycle its own wastewater in its manufacturing cycle.

In its AW 23-24 collection, Sharabati has increased the proportion of recycled content. Fibres spun from a combination of pre-and post-consumer waste can make up 55% of rigid denims or 30% for stretch references.

Tapping the current heritage trend in denim, new styles in the collection include denims with pronounced slubs and cross hatches and fabrics with coloured backsides that give them a three-dimensional texture. Stretch denims are also increasingly made to look like rigid fabrics.

The collection includes a series of colourful ‘Happy Days’ references and, as part of its Nature Vibes trend, denims made with eco-fibres such as Tencel, Modal, linen and hemp.
