Sharabati embraces green casts, thermals and vintage for AW25

Egypt-headquartered Sharabati Denim has unveiled a wide-ranging collection of fabrics for autumn-winter 25-26, including thermal fabrics, green casts, updated hemps and slubby vintage looks.

Verso is a versatile fabric collection with formal but comfortable styles in mind, with a soft and shiny look, thanks to the blended Tencel.

This season it is promoting two new colours: Platinum Grey, a grey made with indigo; and Green Tea, which has a green cast. “Slubby effects are coming back and a green cast looks really good with the vintage fabrics,” Dilek Erik, Sharabati’s marketing manager, told Inside Denim.

The Coolr collection includes leather-look coatings, prints and metallic sheens. Sharabati has recently installed a printing machine, and is working with Italian design house Lago for exclusive prints.

Part of this collection are French hemp-blend fabrics, using a cottonized hemp in both the warp and weft. “That way, we increase the amount of hemp, and it also becomes softer,” explains Ms Erik. “For instance, we can blend 20% hemp, but it remains soft. We can also add 20% recycled cotton, which we source from our own recycling facility.”

Warm Up is a seasonal collection featuring brushed-back and double-sided fabrics, some containing Lycra’s Thermolite, which adds warmth without weight.

It also offers a selvedge range, woven on traditional looms in Egypt, offering various weights and characteristics.

Sharbati has denim making facilities in Egypt and Turkey, as well as warehouses in Tunisia and Morocco, and sales offices covering Europe and North Africa. “This means we can offer a better and quicker service for our customers, depending where their manufacturing bases are,” adds Ms Erik.
