Sharabati Denim previews AW23-24 at Bluezone
26/08/2022
The denim manufacturer with facilities in Turkey and Egypt is continuously seeking to reduce water and energy usage in its dyeing and finishing processes. In addition to choosing to work with organic cotton, recycled yarns and natural fibres, sustainability is also driven by “timeless and seasonless fabrics,” Dilek Erik, head of marketing for Sharabati tells Inside Denim.
The newly launched Reboot range is the company’s most sustainable product featuring recycled yarns and natural fibres, including fabrics made without any water at any stage, she says.
To address ongoing market demand for comfort, Sharabati has developed a new series of fabrics with brushed backs, comfort stretch along with rigid fabrics made for loose-fitting styles.
Fabrics featuring fine slubs or cross hatches are some of the key textures that will be on display on the company’s booth in Munich next week.
