Only reworked denims for latest Gina Tricot range

Swedish fashion brand Gina Tricot has launched Seams Like New, a new collection made entirely from repurposed denim fabrics left over from past seasons.

The campaign stars Norwegian influencer Nina Sandbech, well-known for her bold and colourful personal taste and do-it-yourself denim creations on social media. Ms Sandbech is also credited for styling the accompanying promotional imagery.

In addition to a noughties-style denim maxi skirt, wide-legged and cargo jeans, a denim vest and a crop top, the capsule notably includes more unusual articles like denim leg warmers and trendy rose-shaped brooches, for pinning to choker necklaces, belt loops and more. Lighter indigo washes and grey-black tones dominate.

XV Production, a sustainably minded design studio and micro textile factory located in the city of Borås, not far from the brand’s own headquarters, was responsible for making each item.

Outside of its home market, Gina Tricot has a physical retail presence in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany and its online store serves most European countries.
