Nexia crowned ‘export champion’ in Italy

Nexia, which says its technologies can reduce use of water, electricity and “polluting chemicals” by 85%, 60% and 80%, respectively, commented that the award was given in recognition of its green-minded innovation as a business, which “has allowed the concept of quality, robustness and sustainability to spread throughout the world”, making particular reference to developing countries. It also singled out its NEO (NExia Ozone Engineering) system, which uses ozone to create a stone wash effect on denims while maintaining fabric softness, as evidence of its research and development focus when it comes to the environment and worker health.
